Our story
Most home watch software is built for the wrong person. It's built for someone who wants a spreadsheet with photos attached. It documents visits. It stores checklists. It generates reports that look like tax forms. And when the homeowner opens it — if they even can — they see a receipt for work that happened, not proof that anyone cared.
We built Home Watch OS because we believe the whole category should be reframed. Home watch isn't a chore that needs tracking. It's a relationship that needs tending. And the software should serve the relationship, not the paperwork.
The perfect software doesn't just document visits. It proves care, communicates clearly, and resolves problems without the homeowner needing to think about their home.
That's the vision. Every decision we make gets measured against those three tests. When we added photos, we asked: does this prove care? When we added the AI summary, we asked: does this communicate clearly? When we added concierge services, we asked: does this resolve problems without the homeowner having to think?
The result is not just an app. It's a whole system — one that gives home watch operators the same polish and professionalism as the luxury service businesses their clients already work with. When your homeowner opens their portal, they should feel the same way they feel walking into a Ritz-Carlton lobby: someone thought about this, deeply, and I don't need to worry.
The three tests
Care is invisible unless you make it visible. Every touchpoint should show the work — the photos, the specifics, the moments where you noticed something small before it became something big. Anything that hides the work fails this test.
Clarity is the antidote to anxiety. Nobody wants to decode a report or guess what "moisture ring detected" means. Every message should read like a caring professional wrote it, in plain English, with the right amount of reassurance. Anything that adds jargon or ambiguity fails this test.
The whole point of peace of mind is that the homeowner doesn't have to be in it. They shouldn't have to remember to approve a plumber, or wonder if their pool is being opened, or coordinate a storm prep. Everything routes itself. Anything that requires the homeowner to do work fails this test.
Who this is for
You watch beach houses in a small town. Your clients trust you with more than keys — they trust you with the peace of their whole season away.
You watch second homes in ski country. Your clients are hundreds of miles away and depend on you to be their eyes during winter storms.
You watch condos and townhomes for busy professionals. You've expanded from just checking in to running pre-arrival prep, mail hold, contractor supervision.
You watch vacation properties in Florida, Arizona, or the Carolinas. You know how one leaked pipe in July can turn into a $40k claim by August.
